An unusual 19th century gilt bronze, banded agate and lapis lazuli figure of a grotesque bear, modelled sitting before a lapis lazuli pot holding a tankard in his right hand, a white metal collar with lapis lazuli suspension and a banded agate grotesque face, mounted on a black rectangular marble plinth, overall 15cm high x 9.5cm wide x 7.5cm deep.
