Glenfiddich Wisky hidden in 1950's sells for £17,000

A forgotten hoard of whisky which lay hidden in the cellar of a Perthshire Country House for 60 years sold for £17,000 at auction in Perth. The 14 bottles of Glenfiddich Special Pure Malt Scotch Whisky soared above the estimate £600-800 per bottle, when they went under the hammer in Perth on Wednesday 15th April.
