A Scottish George III silver and silver-gilt desk stand, Edinburgh 1816, makers mark 'GF', the rounded rectangular base with egg and dart type border set with four seated figures at the corners, centred with a detachable cut glass inkwell with hinged silver-gilt cover, the whole raised on four claw and ball feet, 17.3cm wide, gross weight 15.9 troy oz.
