An 18th century blue ground Battersea enamel snuff box, the hinged cover opening to a white enamel interior, the exterior decorated with a colourful panel of flowers on the cover, the sides with white enamel foliate sprays, 5cm wide; together with a late 18th/ early 19th century gilt metal and enamel box, the hinged enamel cover with serpentine front edge, decorated with a ribbon tied foliate spray and two butterflies, 7.5cm wide (2).
