the three-quarter hinged cover finely decorated with a pen and ink drinking scene from Burns poem ‘Willie Brew’d A Peck O’Maut’ depicting three men toasting at a table and inscribed ‘It is the moon, I ken her horn’, the collar further decorated with thistles and foliage, early 19th century, 12cm long.
