An unusual Scottish burr wood snuff box, the heart-shaped cover painted with a depiction of a woman on horseback within a narrow band of laurel leaves, with integral hinge and base of naturalistic burr root with four ‘twig’ supports, maker’s mark ‘W GRAHAM’ inside lid, early 19^th century, 8cm wide.
