A George III mahogany and boxwood lined automata longcase clock, Robert MacNab, Perth, the enamelled dial with Arabic and Roman numerals with subsidiary seconds and date dials, the arch with automata movement of nodding bulls head and arm chopping meat, the central figure presumably with a moving arm (now missing) the spandrels painted with roundels of figures taking animals to market, the twin train four pillar movement striking on a bell contained within a broken scroll neck pediment hood, supported by fluted Corinthian columns, the trunk with gilt metal capped fluted quarter Corinthian columns, overall 220cm high
