A fine George IV rosewood, brass and marble side table in the manner of Gillows, circa 1820-25, the rectangular top with an acanthus moulded rim with inlaid cut brass border inset with a mosaic panel of marble and hardstones, the panel probably Italian, with a central geometric rosette flanked by urn panels surrounded by a cherry and floral border, the base with a gadrooned edge on two trestle supports with richly carved acanthus scrolls united by an upper and lower single plain stretchers, on four paw feet with concealed brass casters, 75.5cm high x 116cm wide, 67.5cm deep
